Important Update from 1st of October:

Online access to GP services (Triage System)

 Triage system  in UK GP Practices:

 In the new NHS contract, “from the 1st of October 2025 GP practice must ensure that their website provides continuous access to online consultation forms during its core hours between 8am to 6:30pm. 

At Prima care Surgeries we are already providing online access from 8am to 4:30pm which will be changed to 8am to 6:30pm on the 1st of October 2025.  We use the Accurx GP software tool to manage all our online consultation requests.  From 1st of October, there will be staff present during the core hours 08:00 to 18:30.   This is only at Hanley Branch of Prima Care Surgeries. EVEN THOUGH THE  SERVICES ARE OPEN FROM 08:00 am TO 18:30 PM  AND ADMIN STAFF WILL BE THERE TO ADDRESS YOUR QUERY,  A CLINCIAN MAY NOT ALWAYS BE ON-SITE.  ONLINE  CONSULTATIONS SHOULD ONLY BE SUBMITTED FOR NON-URGENT APPOINTMENT REQUESTS, MEDICATION QUERIES AND ADMIN REQUESTS. Phones will be answered by Out Of Hours at 18:00hrs monday, tuesday wednesday and friday and 13:00hrs on thursdays.
